Watch Office Bar and Kitchen opens at Alconbury Weald

The new Watch Office Bar and Kitchen at Alconbury Weald offers an inviting space for residents, Campus workers and visitors to socialise and enjoy drinks and dining in a unique setting at the heart of the community.

With its stylish yet relaxed ambiance, the venue boasts a carefully curated menu offering a range of brunch and lunch options as well as starters, mains and desserts. It also features an impressive drinks menu including expertly crafted cocktails, local ales and a thoughtfully selected wine list.

The Bar and Kitchen is located in the Watch Office - a listed Nissen Hut extensively refurbished in 2020 to bring it up to modern standards whilst preserving the historic fabric of the building – that was used for briefing aircrew before wartime missions.

To pay homage to its heritage, new proprietor Vicky Pryce commissioned Peterborough-based street artist, Nathan Murdoch, to create a mural in tribute to the those who served at RAF Alconbury during its military past. The feature wall depicts British and American aircraft crew with a Bristol Blenheim and Boeing B17 Flying Fortress overhead.
