Midday to 4pm on Saturday 10 May on Watch Office Green. Residents, family, friends and surrounding communities are being invited to attend a 1940’s-themed event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, which officially marked the end of World War II in Europe. The event on Saturday 10 May, which is being organised by Alconbury Weald Community Association, will include market stalls selling handmade crafts, gifts, sweets, pet products and a florist, a face painter and traditional lawn games including ring toss and hopscotch.
