Planning application submitted for Alconbury Weald's next community space

A planning application has been submitted for the next open space at Alconbury Weald.  The Community Park located in Key Phase One of the development will include allotments for the local community, a multi use games area, a skatepark, open space including picnic tables.

Rebecca Briton, Communications, Communities and Partnerships, said: “We’re working hard to ensure new residents have facilities on their door step, from day one. We know that not only does that provide important services and recreation choices just a short walk away, but it is where new residents can meet, come together and start to forge the new community at Alconbury Weald.”

The park will be set in beautifully landscaped surroundings and will also include a community shop which will serve the new residents due to move in this Autumn.
