Heritage Open Day

Find out more about Alconbury Weald’s fascinating past, with highlights including an exhibition on its military heritage and artefacts preserved from some of the World War II and Cold War era buildings that formed part of RAF Alconbury. There will also be a talk at 3pm and pre-booked tours of the Avionics Building. A Dakota flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is also scheduled in the afternoon (weather conditions permitting).

Family Fun Day

Alconbury Weald Community Association’s Family Fun Day will run alongside the heritage event with food trucks, The Watch Office Bar & Kitchen’s outside bar, candyfloss and ice creams, as well as Pimms and scones with jam and cream.
 

There will be sports and games with Living Better and a kid’s area with face painting, hair braiding, Wildlife Wonders unforgettable animal experiences and a police car experience. Live music will also be played throughout, with performance from The Weald Thing, Brad Ariss and more.

Farmers’ Market

Come along to the Alconbury Weald Farmers Market for a relaxed morning of fantastic local produce and independent traders. Expect farm-fresh butcher’s meat, local honey, fresh eggs, artisan cheeses, sourdough, homemade treats and much more, alongside a selection of independent makers and small businesses.

It’s the perfect chance to shop local, stock up on delicious produce and discover something a little different, all while supporting local and independent businesses.

Held on the second Saturday of the month from 9am to 12pm. 2026 dates: 12th September, 10th October, 14th November & 12th December
