Alconbury Weald’s future GP provider recognised among best in Cambridgeshire by patients
As work continues to progress on Alconbury Weald's first dedicated health facility, the GP practice that will run The Glade Surgery has been recognised by patients as one of the highest-rated in Cambridgeshire.
The purpose-built surgery, located above the Co-op, is on course for completion this autumn and will provide modern healthcare services for Alconbury Weald’s growing community.
Operated by Alconbury and Brampton Surgeries in partnership with NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board, The Glade Surgery will offer a welcoming reception and waiting area, consulting rooms and treatment facilities, bringing a range of NHS services closer to home for residents.
As progress on the facility continues, Alconbury Surgery has been recognised as one of Cambridgeshire's top-performing GP surgeries in the latest NHS GP Patient Survey, with patients praising the quality of care they receive and their overall experience.

The health facility is being delivered ahead of the original masterplan timetable to meet the needs of the growing community. It forms part of the wider vision for Alconbury Weald, with health and wellbeing embedded into the design of the development through extensive walking and cycling routes, green spaces, community orchards and opportunities for active lifestyles.

The Glade Surgery represents the first dedicated health facility at Alconbury Weald and complements plans for a larger permanent health centre that will form part of the development's future town centre as the community continues to grow.
