Victoria joins the Alconbury Weald team

A new member of staff has joined the team at Alconbury Weald.

Victoria Parchment has been employed as Office Manager of the Estate Office. Victoria has lived in and around Huntingdon since she was a teenager.

After leaving St Peter’s School she attended the former Huntingdon Technical College, now Huntingdonshire Regional College. From there, she then went to work at Anglian Water in Cambridge. Over the years, while raising her family, Victoria has worked for other local companies and has built up in excess of 15 years’ administration and office management experience.

Having sold her car over 20 years ago to see how long she could manage without it, Victoria can be seen cycling from Huntingdon to Alconbury Weald and back daily.

Victoria said: "This is such a fascinating project to be involved with: with so many different aspects from trees to heritage, to trying to open up the jobs coming on site to local people. Having lived in both Great Stukeley and Huntingdon, I am really excited to be part of the team that will bring such a positive transformation to this old airfield."

Andy Brading, Site Manager of Alconbury Weald, said: “Victoria has quickly become a huge asset to the team. From supporting us and co-ordinating events on-site, to baking personalised Alconbury Weald cupcakes for The Stukeleys’ Open Gardens, she has already demonstrated that she can turn her hand to anything.”
