Alconbury Enterprise Campus lies at the heart of the dynamic Cambridgeshire economy: home to one of the World’s leading universities and to cutting edge clusters of high tech businesses from ARM to Xaar. The development offers bespoke space within an area renowned for its advanced engineering, high value manufacturing and research and development.
The Campus has a workforce of over 1 million people living within 60 minutes’ drive, with skills levels 20% above the national average. The development is working closely with a range of sector leaders including the Institute for Manufacturing, Huntingdonshire Manufacturers Association, Cambridge Cleantech and the Cambridge Network. It is supported by the region’s Enterprise Partnership which supports 60,000 enterprises which generate £30 billion per annum across the local area.
The Campus is already home to University of Cambridge R&D spin-out Enval – who have developed a pioneering process to separate aluminium from plastic laminate waste material. Find out more by reading the Enval case study.
